This is THE most important "to-do" in the hobby!  There are pilots who have a written
checklist, some have memorized procedures and still others either do a little
pre-flight or none at all.  The following are suggestions on how to improve your
pre-flight or start building one.

Spending just a few minutes before going to the field and before you taxi
to take off will save you money, planes and lots of frustration.

This list is not all inclusive...all systems should checked periodically!

ALWAYS.....

bullet Stand behind your aircraft before taxing or going to the flight line
and check the control surfaces!
 
bullet Check your receiver battery before every flight!
 
bullet Fuel or Refuel before each flight!
 
bullet Check that the switches and trim tabs are where they belong before every flight!!
 
bullet Pull on each control surface before the first flight of the day!
 
bullet Check the tightness of wheel collars before the first flight of the day!
 
bullet Check each control horn on each surface before the first flight of the day!
 
bullet Check the servo screws before the first flight of the day!
 
bullet Check the covering for holes before the first flight of the day!
 
bullet Check all clevis's before the first flight of the day!
